To introduce and cultivate appreciation of art in paintings since early age, Aryaseni held an art sessions for children of kindergarten and primary years during the solo exbition of Suharmanto and Gusti Alit Cakra, young talented artists from Yogyakarta, Central Java, Indonesia.

Some students from  UWCSEA & Tanglin Trust school supervised by Gusti Alit, created abstract painting using mixed media such as news paper, net and cloth.

One of the parent also joined the activity.

Latip Pottery Exhibition

 

Local artist - AB Latip bin Hussain held his first exhibition at the gallery

It was opened by Mrs. Joy Balakrishnan, witnessed by   Mr. Iskandar Jalil (his tutor), Mr. Cosmas Gozali (The Aryaseni) and also friends from Temasek Poly who encouraged and supported him for the exhibition.

Among his interesting art works are the Tsunami series and the Pregnant vases.

Together with the pottery exhibition, the gallery was displaying Arie Smit art works.

Arie Smit is a Dutch artist who lives in Bali. Respected as a Senior mentor for his unique "Young Artist Style".

His brilliant art works in mixing and composing various colors on canvas makes him an important  artist in the history of Indonesian art.
