Multazam or Zam Kamil, one of the rare young artists in this period as his talents are not limited to only in painting, but also in literatures and poems.

The vibration of his heart and soul which he experienced personally, through observation, reading or contemplating his surroundings is expressed in words through poems, which then is translated to paintings.

Circa 1990s, Zam explore naked body (nude) which (most) signaling woman figure, composed in so many pose, with sharp stroke and colors.

His works is not trapped at merely expose vulgar naked, but rather exploring the problem of seeking and understanding the problems of human being and humanity. Lie down bodies, that worried, bend, surrendering, and perhaps with bruised mind.

Zam through his works signaling the subject that becoming his painting object about worry which was also happening within himself.

Entering the 2000s, Zam's works showing progressively mature indication; giving more room to his mind for contemplation.

Nowadays, Zam's works is showing more expectation dynamics (optimism).

Zam is developing rhythm through bodies' wriggles that rest on outline. Bodies in motion.

Zam's canvas like mini-word's theatrical stage without words. Theatre that relies on gesture to tell inner world stories. Body wriggle and incline, hand wave, or hair sway, is like fragment.

Zam composed this problem with cheerful emotion, although also implied dark atmosphere.

As an impressionist artist, Zam communicates through art works that are beyond geography limitation, moving towards universality, humbly apprehend, without criticism, but revealing that it is time which will take him to ratification.

In this current high technology century, our dependency on facts and realities has captivated our sensitivity.

Zam's paintings hopefully will usher us to the recognition of time again and keep the chain embrace.
